IGLESIA 'LA COLEGIATA REAL' AND SANTA MARÍA DE RONCESVALLES

There is an albergue, a small shop (which sells souvenirs and some sweets), and a museum.

The daily PIlgrim Mass is held at 6:00 pm or at 8:00 pm (depending on the season).

From Monday - Saturday there is one bus service from Pamplona to Roncesvalles

(not on public holidays; two services in July / August). Autobuses Artieda is the company which organizes

this bus ride from Pamplona to Roncesvalles (which takes about 80 minutes). Come rain or shine: it operates!

On weekdays there is a bus service from Pamplona to Zubiri at 1300 hours.

From Roncesvalles there are taxi services to France.

The Pilgrim Menu (served by both restaurants) must be booked a few hours in advance.

The cost is around € 9=    It is served after the Pilgrim Mass has finished.

BURGUETE (at 2 kms from RONCESVALLES)

A good alternative to the (pricy) hotels in Roncesvalles can be found nearby, at 2 kms.

Hostal Burguete offers comfortable rooms and a good menu with good wine.

An extensive breakfast is included in the price.

The hostal can be found in main street Burguete.

The staff appears somewhat reserved initially, but they are very friendly indeed.
