THIS CHAPTER IS UP TO DATE: 2012

Jaca: good new Japanese Restaurant on main street (menu 9,50) "Rice & Sushi"

Santa Cilia: Camping Pirineos charges 1,20 for a tea

Puente la Reina de Jaca:

Hotel Anaya: recommended (very friendly, very good value, large bath)

Restaurante Anaya (next door): not recommended! (The 'wine' with the 12,50 menu is not even vinegar!)

Restaurante El Mesón (near bridge): good

Hotel Carmen: closed

Apart Hotel: open

Artieda: Albergue (good menu, accepts credit cards)

Casa Rural Fortunato: very good, affordable  (694 813 552)

No banks or cashpoints in Artieda or in Puente la Reina de Jaca

ONE bus to Pamplona per day (from  Artieda) early in the morning
