Cardeñuela: new Casa rural. Albergue not open in winter

Villafría: Hotel Buenos Aires (good bar, cheap) the bus to the centre stops in front!! 85 cents

BURGOS: new albergue next to cathedral (a little up the hill) Cheap: 3= Good. Hospitalero not very friendly.

Internet, micro wave, vending machines, patio for horses. Cheap kebab cafes nearby.

Hontanas: bar open in late afternoon. Albergue open: dinner

Puente Fitero: Albergue/Hotel open

Boadilla del Camino: Albergue La Mochila not very good 

Frómista: new albergue open at Railway Station (10=) 

Villovieco: new Casa rural  

Villarmentero de campos: albergue, not open in winter 

Carrión de los Condes: Hostal Albe (cheap, very good, some rooms have a kitchen)

Moratinos: Casa de acogida (bookings essential! ring: 664 539 188 Rebekah/Paddy)

Sahagún: Restaurant La Trebede: bad

Pensíon La Asturiana: closed 

Hostal Alfonso VI: value for money. Hotel Puerta de Sahagún: same 

Hostal Escarcha: not good value for money 

Hospedería Benedictina: only open in summer. No cooking. Breakfast served. 

Bercianos: refuge closed in winter 

Burgo Ranero: Hotel Piedras Blancas: OK. Hostal El Peregrino: OK

Refuge open in winter. Caretaker: weird

Hotel Avia on highway nearby: 40= 

Calzada del Coto: albergue not great 

Reliegos: bar Gil: OK (near park on the right)

Puente Villarente: good new refuge in house on right

León: Hostal Don Suero (near the San Marcos convent) good, 24= single (WIFI, bath)
