Hostal Toñi: clean, 25-28 Euros for a single room, friendly, ensuite, tv
Hotel Xacobeo: very pricy: 52 single
Villafranca Montes de Oca: Albergue municipal open all year.
Restaurant El Pájaro: menu bad. Coffee and snacks OK Pensión El Pájaro: € 20-
Private Albergue San Abad (slightly uphill): no heating. Coffee: € 2=
San Juan de Ortega: new Casa Rural La Henera (10 rooms) 606198734 Good bar
Agés 3 good albergues. Shop. Restaurants. NOTE: the private house of Anja is not open!
Atapuerca: new Restaurante / bar Comosapiens (friendly, good)
Excellent meals in Casa Rural / Albergue PAPASOL
Cardeñuela: new Casa rural. Albergue not open in winter
Villafría: Hotel Buenos Aires (good bar, cheap rooms) the bus to the centre stops in front!! 85 cents
BURGOS: new albergue next to cathedral (a little up the hill) Good. Hospitalero not very friendly.
WATCH OUT FOR THEFT. DO NOT EVEN TRUST THE STAFF.
Internet, micro wave, vending machines, patio for horses. Cheap kebab cafes nearby.

Hontanas: bar open in late afternoon. Albergue open: dinner in Casa rural next door. Supermarket

Puente Villarente: good new refuge in house on right
León: Hostal Don Suero (near the San Marcos convent) good, 24= single (WIFI, bath)

Albergue "San Miguel" (good; recommendced; breakfast; kitchen, patio)
Rabanal del Camino: Albergue Gaucelmo (good), Albergue del Pilar (very good), and a new Albergue,
next to the church. However, in this new one a multiple-day stay is required.
New: souvenir shop next to church: postcards & books. Open late in the afternoon.
A daily mass at 1800 hours.
Manjarín: the Albergue of Tomás is open all year!
Mansilla de las Mulas: Albergue Jardín open (good) REStaurante POSTIGO: good!
Calzadilla de los Hermanillos: Hostal/bar: good, friendly
Calzadilla de la Cueva: unfriendly hospitalera !! Walk on to Lédigos or Terradillos or Moratinos.
Sahagún: good albergue in Calle A Nicolás. Municipal also open. Rest. La Taberna: good!
