** The bars at Cebreiro will charge you 4-6 Euros for a breakfast.
Cebreiro: Good refuge, open in winter with kitchen
Triacastela: Refuge Ouribio: not good (unheated)
Albergue EL BERCE (at the end of the main street): VERY GOOD <<<<<<<<<< !!!!
Municipal refuge: OK
Sarria: new Hotel Mar de Plata (€ 31 single. Also a pension facility for €20)(ask!)
new bar Xuxu and very good bar Polo (renovated; near station)
Municipal albergue: good
Portomarín: Habitaciones Perez: open all year. Good restaurant
Mirador: good menu
Hospital de la Cruz: good restaurant EL LABRADOR (also rooms)
Ventas de Narón: everything very expensive. Avoid this place.
Palas de Rei: Hostal Vilariño: very unfriendly. Closed in winter
Hotel Plaza: good
Pulperia: good
Restaurante La Forxa: early breakfast
Bar Britania: good breakfast
Pensión Palas: too far from Palas de Rei. No air conditioning!! Very hot in summer.
Melide: refuge closed for renovations. Sports hall open. Follow arrows

Arzúa: Pension Rúa: open (cheap)

Past Arzúa: (near km 30) Casa Calzada (bar and good shop) !!
Pedrouzo: the municipal refuge has no hot water and no heating. In the busy
season there are 3 private albergues nearby. Or: Hostal Plaza: € 30 (new, good) or Pension Arca
Santiago de Compostela: Casa Felisa: OK, but noisy
Hostal Girasol: OK but very DAMP
Hostal Costa Vella: 51= (OK) (discounts in winter!)
ALL IN THE SAME STEET: Puerta da Pena
Hotel Avenida: good (near Plaza Galicia)
Bar/Rest Obispo: very good tapas (in Calle Franco)
